Back to School, Back to Blog

Yes, the blog has been revived!!!

School has begun and the heat is beginning to decrease, although I DO LOVE SUMMERTIME!

What an awesome summer it was... the beach, camps, mission trips, opening a new business, more camps, visiting doctors, the beach again, and a little rest in between. I really hate to see the summer go!

So, now Mom's taxi is back in service as we travel to 3 different schools each day, after school activites/sports, ministries, etc. I hope I have time to keep this blog up-to-date in the midst of all our busy-ness.

OK, kids, time to hit the books!

American Revolution Wax Museum

Kelsey's 4th grade class had a Wax Museum for their study of the American Revolution. Each student chose a character, dressed up, and wrote a speech about their person. The "audience" was asked to walk around the "statues" and press the button to hear about that particular person.
Getting ready for the museum...

practicing their speeches...
putting on the final "touches"...

Kelsey was Phillis Wheatley. This is her poetry pose (writing)...
